Campus Walk
As a student here for the past 12, going on 13 years here I have never just went walking around the campus to actually stop and observe what is around me. We grow up learning about our campus and why each building got their names but we never actually went to go and visit the places we were reading about. It's pretty unbelievable to think how much work and hands were put into building our campus. We learned the small details as to why the boys dorms are decorated a different way from the girls.

My favorite part of the walk was up at the girls dorm where the breeze felt the best and we were just looking down on the campus. That isn't the very top but it was the closest that we went to it that day. It's crazy to hear how things were back when Kamehameha Schools first opened up compared to how they are now. We don't have things like the ROTC or having to babysit a child while also having to go to school. We complain about our uniforms and how hot and uncomfortable they are but I can only imagine how much they would sweat back then. There were no busses to give you a shuttle from Pāki to Konia, they would walk all the way up!
